announces PPS Server 3.1 version availability on 10th
April 2006. PPS Server suite provides real-time rating,
billing and customer care solution for postpaid and
prepaid voice & data service providers.
PPS Server is designed with today’s service provider
needs in mind. It has two main modules. Its web based
administrative console provides distributor/agent relationship
management, easily configurable rate engine, post-paid
& pre-paid billing, comprehensive & detailed
reporting and customer care management. Its real-time
engine gathers necessary user information and uses them
to authenticate & authorize at real-time. It also
does accounting for any user activity.
This version of PPS Server 3.1 runs under.NET 2.0 and
can be installed under Windows Server 2003 or Windows
Server 2000. It leverages Internet Information Service
(IIS) & Internet Authentication Service (IAS) of
Windows Server operating system. It also uses SQL Server
Express 2005, SQL Server 2005 and 2000 as data store.
The web based front-end leverages Microsoft AJAX &
ASP.NET technologies.
